While many of you have your minds on basketball or hockey (just to name a few), we have been making some exciting changes for our upcoming spring baseball season at Big Willow. 

Our Mites Division (5-6 year olds) will now have an extended season, running from May – July. This will allow more time for practices to be held before formal games begin. Schedules will also be more consistent with games set on the same days each week. This will provide families with more flexibility in planning other summer activities. Plus, we are introducing a new and fun training program to help our youngest baseball players learn the game and polish their skills.

A long awaited change is coming to the Junior Division (7-9 year olds). This spring, the Juniors will move to coach-pitch! This will allow the coaches greater flexibility in adjusting to varying ability levels and will better prepare our Juniors for when they move up to Farm (player-pitch). 

And, of course, we are working hard to make sure our players in Farm (9-10 years old) and Majors (11-12 year-olds) have the best season ever!
