Excitement at the Eden Prairie Tournament
Over Mother's Day weekend, the Big Willow tournament teams gave their moms (and dads) plenty to cheer about at the Eden Prairie Tournament!
The 10AA team reeled off five wins to take first place and qualify for both Gopher State and MBT state tournaments.
The 11AAA team competed but came up short against some hot pitchers. A grand slam by one of their sluggers provided lots of excitement.
The 12AA team rallied from an 0-2 start to win three straight games, but came up one run short during extra innings in the championship game. Their second place finish earned them bids to both Gopher State and MBT state tournaments.
The three Big Willow teams combined for 9 wins with a total of 124 runs scored in 14 games! Congratulations players and coaches on a fantastic start to your seasons!
